What to do with an old convertible

This is my Chrysler LeBaron, which I have owned since 1997.
Since moving to Ireland a few years ago from London it has been relegated to a summer weekend car.
The problem is that the summer weather here is so bad compared to London so I don't really get to use it much.
With a 2.2 engine tax and insurance means the cost per km is not insiginficant for a handful of trips each summer.

I love the car but find myself using it less and less. I was going to tax it for 6 months from the beginning of May
but kept an eye on the forecast and fortunately didn't.

Temperatures should be picking up a little now, so I'm looking at taxing the car for 3 months.
Would I be better off going for June-August or July-September?

Are Irish summers often as bad as the last two we've had to endure?

I'm starting to wonder if there's any point in owning a convertible given that I rarely use a car during the week,
and the chances of showers seemingly being so great.
If I were to sell the car, what would be a realistic price?
I believe the car to be in good condition and have had lots of work done.
The top works well and is in good condition.
The car has been garaged almost all the time I've owned it but could do with a paint job
as there are a few small rust spots here and there.

If I decide to keep it until it is 30 years old, are there any issues I should be aware of,
given that it's not being used for most of the years?

oh right...well there are several websites you could use(search on resizing pictures I guess) but photobucket do it automatically I think (or you can specify size required.)

Is it a reflection of a trim strip on another car?

If you run the car for three months you will still have to NCT is,just something to keep in mind.
