Would it be worth making a report to the local gardaí?

Definitely make a report. It goes on a computer system.

went to the gardai today, he did a quick search and said he'd do a full one later, so i gave him the guys number and the name he gave me. i wonder what will happen, the garda said he might call the guy and ask to buy the bike then get it.
