I have basic Sky Digital package (no sports or movies) but want to watch Heineken Cup final tomorrow which is on Sky Sports 2. Anyone know if it is possible to do a pay per view option for the game?

Not possible. You will need to subscribe to Sky Sports 2 if you wish to watch via Sky Digital. If you are able to put your dish to 5° West you can watch the game for free but in French.

Would be possible to mute the tv and get the commentary from RTE radio. Don't think I fancy adjusting dish though.

You can subscribe to Sky Sports for one month

Didn't know that was an option. Is additional cost €29.50 (60.00-30.50)?

You subscribe and then de-subscribe after the month.

You should be able to just subscribe to Sky Sports 2 for the month for less than 29.50

30 euro = 6 pints :-) For that i'd go to the pub for the game...

Do you not need to give a months notice before unsubscribing so in effect you will have it for 2 months.

So you could then connect output cable from laptop to TV and use that instead of your laptop screen.

Fairly poor with streaming sites I'm afraid. You can try justin tv aswell. I tried it before with football but eventually gave up and got setanta.

I think you need a multiroom subscription to boot for live sports on that aswell.
