Condoms for the wider gentleman

I hope the Mods allow this here rather than S&S.

Im having serious problems lately getting a condom to fit right. I know it sounds like a great dillemma to have but its stating to annoy me now. Standard Durex dont fit. Trojan dont either.

What condoms are out there that have a wider base than the norm and an extra bit in length?

Id rather not go down the mail order route and would like to get them over the counter.

I have no idea, not having a penis myself But if you're in Dublin, there's a shop called Condom Power on the Quays (I think - they have a website, Google it!) and I imagine they'd be the people to talk to!

Have a look for Trojan Magnums. They're wider and longer than the regular ones.

These are the widest on the market, afaik. The are also longer than normal, but not the longest.

I do find durex are a bit tight, they can be really hard to get on sometimes, i have thought about looking for wider ones, never tried trojans though. I was looking online a bit, there are loads of different ones. Id say dont try mates, i got some of them once as they were cheap and they were much worse. Condoms are really cheap on ebay uk, might be a good place for you to grab a few of different kinds to try.

it's funny that the damn things are tight yet you can stretch them over your head (the one on top lol) if you are entertained by that sort of thing!

i actually came on here to post a similar problem. Its a pain in the......!!! Durex are too tight and just end up having a numbin effect.

Anyone know where u can just walk in and buy the xl ones?? like the op i wouldnt fancy/trust recieving em through the post..... cheers.

A lot of people have trouble with Durex and move onto other brands (normally via the internet) because of size issues. As per above- try condom power on the Quays- or bite the bullet and buy from a reputable online store......

All of the good online stores use plain packaging so that no one will be able to tell what you have gotten in the post.

Hi man. I sympathise with your problem. Its not easy. I had the same problema and people don't realise how much it can affect your sex life (failed erections, no sex etc etc).
I went down the mail order route as I went into a pharmacy and asked for larger ones. The shop assisstant went all red and went into the back. Out came the pharmacist and started questioning me (I was like wtf...). Anyway, I told her that I needed bigger ones. And she said 'aren't you lucky?' and gave an awkward laugh. I walked out of the shop in disgust. I've never set foot in that pharmacy since, even though it's right beside my place. I presume I'm not allowed mention the shop here, but its in the stillorgan area.

I know you'd prefer not to go down the website route, but if you change your mind, let us know and I will PM the address to you (dunno if its allowed on here?).

Otherwise, a specialist sex shop would probably be better than a regularly pharmacy.

Also, there are some durex condoms that are wider than the standard ones. If you look at the back of the packets, some are 52mm and some are 56mm (I think).
Even though they were not brilliant, the wider ones were still a LOT better, so its worth trying out if you haven't already done so.

I ended up getting larger ones in Germany (my GF is german, so she got them for me).

OP - I use this website, they're reliable, it comes up on your visa bill as 'cheaper healthcare' and as a bonus they're cheaper, especially if you buy in quantity.

There's nothing to fear from buying a 10-pack of these from 'blackburnshop' on ebay. I bought a box of 50 last year and have found them to have none of the problems of fit or smell associated with the standard durex.
