    No I think your wrong what they are actually saying is "Dont confuse me as english ya dumb fcuk" think about it... Every time I go to france I am asked what part of england I come from. I wear an irish shirt problem sorted! I actually sometimes wear my french shirt. This is a good laugh until I say "i dont speak french"

    That's when they start telling you how 'the sun never sets on the British Empire'.

    I used to love watching these people during the 90s back in the States filling into back rooms of pubs to watch the satellite broadcast of the EPL.

    Their teams would score/win and they would come out singing rebel songs.
