    As the thread title says:

We're looking for a drummer to play 7 paying gigs and 1 non-paying gig on the following dates in the following places:

Friday July 31st: Duleek (private gig)
    Saturday August 1st: Duleek (bar)

Thursday August 6th: Malin Head (bar)
Friday August 7th: Malin Head (bar)
    Saturday August 8th: Brigend (bar)

    Thursday August 13th: Donaghadee (bar)
    Friday August 14th: Navan (bar)
    Saturday August 15th: Dublin (bar)

    Who we are:
We are normally a 3-piece Roots / Americana / Folk / Bluegrassy-type band with original music as well as a ton of cover stuff. We have a fiddle, acoustic guitar, and electric bass.
Lately we have been playing with a drummer and we like what it brings to our sound. Our regular drummer can't make it to these gigs, so we'd like to find a sit-in if at all possible. We are a little older (34, 50, and 51). We will be based around Duleek, Co. Meath during our stay.
    Our website is here:
    http://www.clarkashton.org/BooHooHOME.htm

What type of drummer we are looking for:
A solid drummer to keep the beat. We're not looking for Mick Fleetwood. The emphasis is on the acoustic instrumentation. Added bonus: we have a drum kit that we used last year so you don't have to lug around yours. According to our drummer, it's a fairly decent set.

What you get out of it:
Play music, drink, and have fun.
Go to a few cool places around the country.
Get an equal share of earnings on the paying gigs (7 of them) and any CDs we sell. Granted it may not amount to a lot (we are still working that out).

If any drummers out there are interested, please reply to this thread and we'll get in touch. We can discuss music and a strategy for you to get familiar with our music prior to the gigs. Please feel free to peruse our website to get an idea of the type of music we play.

    Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the responses - PM's sent to all.

If possible, we'd like to have the same drummer for all the gigs - I'm sure you understand why!

If not, I'll try and coordinate it accordingly.

dranso: Note that this thread is two years old so the gigs have no doubt long since been played.
