...willy, knob, John Thomas, langer, Defender of the Realm.

This is but a small sample of the multitude of names us men call our manhood.

But why? Why do we do it?

Conventional wisdom suggests it is because we don't want a stranger making 95% of our decisions. We would rather be on first name terms with the entity that ultimately determines our fate, or gets us laid. Same difference, really.

So, I ask the assembled masses, why is it so? Why must we insist on naming the very essence of our being?

And more's to the point, what do you call yours?

    Chorus:
    Oh Mickey, you're so fine
You're so fine, you blow my mind, hey Mickey, hey Mickey
    Oh Mickey, you're so fine
You're so fine, you blow my mind, hey Mickey, hey Mickey
    Oh Mickey, you're so fine
You're so fine, you blow my mind, hey Mickey...

    Hey Mickey
You've been around all night and that's a little long
You think you've got the right but I think you've got it wrong
Why can't we say goodnight? So you can take me home, Mickey

Cause when you say you will, it always means you won't
You're givin' me the chills, baby, please baby don't
Every night you still leave me all alone, Mickey

Oh Mickey, what a pity, you don't understand
You take me by the heart when you take me by the hand
Oh Mickey, you're so pretty, can't you understand
    It's guys like you, Mickey
Ooh what you do Mickey, do Mickey
    Don't break my heart, Mickey

    Hey Mickey
Now when you take me by the... who's... ever gonna know
Every time you move I let a little more show
There's something you can use, so don't say no, Mickey

So come on and give it to me anyway you can
Anyway you want to do it, I'll take it like a man
Oh please baby, please don't leave me in this jam Mickey

    Refrain1:
Oh Mickey, what a pity, you don't understand
You take me by the heart when you take me by the hand
Oh Mickey, you're so pretty, can't you understand

    Statistically speaking, yes.

Did you have imaginary friends when you were younger?

Old Oak on Satuday was it? ;)

Penis is such an awful word - only beaten by scrotum. We had to come up with different names for it to try to fool the wimmens into thinking it was a good thing. I think Ms Doyle spoiled it all for us though....

I have heard tell of some very strange names, some of which I am not sure are fit for public consumption

I will discuss with my fellow Bretheren at the beers this evening and may drunkenly post them later if they are agreeable

Ah yes, picture the scene - several rather portly, balding men, in a gay bar, discussing names for their manhood.

    A sight to behold.
