You will be amazed what people will bring on board.

Use some common sense. You could buy a bag a little bigger but to answer your question the dimensions you have are the maximum you can buy so head out and ask in the shops for a cabin case.

I have one which to be honest is tiny really. You put in two pairs of shoes(mens) and you have barely enough for socks/underwear two shirts and a pair of jeans and it is stuffed.

Do not buy a hard backed case. They are heavier and are not as easy to seal if you try to squeeze more products in.

Head into the bag shop or depending on your location downstairs to Arnotts where they sell off stuff cheaply.

This is the kind of thing you can get. I have taken this on two Ryanair flights in the past.

Hi guys, got a slighty similar query. I'm travelling to poland next week for a friends wedding, is there any chance I could get away with a carry on case and a garment bag for a suit? I don't wanna have to crumple my suit into a tiny bag.

    On Ryanair, not a hope.

Just echoing what the others have said - no way!

They now patrol the queues at the airport looking for people with more than one bag and also for people who have hand luggage that looks on the large side. They then make them take it to the measuring frame to check its within the dimensions.

I recently got a great deal on a case in Debenhams.

****e. Not what I need so. Gonna go for a soft case, but I need to bring clothes for three days, a laptop, a suit, and two pairs of shoes. I think wearing the suit might be the best idea.

Wearing the suit could be an option or just fork out the extra money for hold baggage!

With that said, I travel Ryanair regulary (every 6 weeks or so) and you'd be amazed with what some people get away with when it comes to hand luggage, so its up to you if you want to risk trying to sneak on a slightly larger bag! I haven't seen them trying to charge people at the gate yet, but Ive heard it does happen!

I generally check in with a normal Airline that allows me to carry a good deal more than a toothbrush. It usually costs less too!

Ryanair allow you to carry on far more than any other airline. Just people then refusing to accept that they should be checking stuff into the hold is the problem.
