I don't know much about recruitment agencies. There seems to be loads of them; which is the best one to go for? I have a BA and 3 years experience as an archaeologist. I'm looking for any type of job but preferably in one of these fields: Archaeology, Tourism, Heritage, Hospitality, Conservation – heritage, animal etc., Green keeping. Or should I contact all of them? Are there ones I should avoid?

    Help apprieciated, thanks!

    Hey,

You won't find much love for agencies here! I'm not sure what agencies deal in Archaeology so you are prob better off typing Archaeology jobs in google.ie and see what comes up. I know Grafton Recruitment are very big in the hospitality area.

    Best of luck

Searching for archaeology jobs is just going to frustrate you. There are none. The whole sector has collapsed. Trying to change your career is difficult, but best of luck. Hope you find something soon!

they all suck. that doesnt mean you cant use them, just as much as they use everyone else. if any have anything to offer you, meet with them, try to get them to put you forward for the position, if not, just gleam as much information from them on the position, do a bit of detective work and apply yourself when you find out the company name.
