hi i'm looking to get a pair of runners for gaelforce and running offroad, I use nike triax when doing my normal runs so i need a dit of support. I find that with the weather lately they aren't the best for grip. Anyone have good recommendations? thanks

    just for the running part:

I currently have inov8 roc-lites for hills, they're grippy but dont have much cushioning. Fine for offroad races but are tough on the feet on road stretches. Inov8 have a very wide range, not sure if they have a stockist in ireland but i'd recommend you check them out if possible.

In the past i've worn salomon's (very good but they seem to change their models regularly) , adidas (trail version of their regular runners) which were ok- they had lots of cushioning and were weatherproof, but didnt feel so responsive on off-camber trails.
