Ryanair fuel surcharge

This is fiction (except for the underlying facts)
Aer Lingus management today denounced Ryanairs' cynical fuel-surcharge-by-another-name imposed on confused and long-suffering passengers.

This is the latest in a long line of additional charges forced on passengers by an airline hell-bent on screwing the public as a means of shielding the markets from the drop in growth experienced by Ryanair.

    Are Lingus' Paddy Pious said:

"Ryanair are typically pretending to have low fares yet jack up any fee, charge or levy they can. Clearly Ryanair are adding a fuel surcharge when all other airlines are abandoning theirs. But Michael O'Leary lacks the honesty and integrity to admit that his reckless policies have forced him to belatedly do what he should have done when oil was $140 a barrel."

Aer Lingus called on former Ryanair passengers to give Ryanair a two-fingered salute as they head to their low-cost high-quality Aer Lingus service.

To celebrate Ryanairs' belated dose of reality, Aer Lingus are giving FREE peanuts to all passengers travelling with all four grandparents.

    Ends.
