You could use em to confuse people. Indicate left, then go straight on... that kinda thing. No one will know what the hell is going on. Then POW, you pounce and take the win.

Maybe we can get our own back on taxi drivers (sorry Hermy!) with these - just stick on the hazards, slow down a bit, speed up a bit, stop in the middle of the road etc
