I'll agree with the garmin and the turbo.

    Lights as gadgets? Hmm.

Two of the top 10 are indicators

Some of them are actually useful though - and it's encouraging to see an article like this in an Irish newspaper.

the garmin and the turbo are the biz - what about the shoes??

I'm not sure I'd want to fork out 250 yoyos for some shoes then burn them in the oven!

You could use em to confuse people. Indicate left, then go straight on... that kinda thing. No one will know what the hell is going on. Then POW, you pounce and take the win.

Those indicators could be a great safety feature for when you're too busy texting to make a hand signal.

Maybe we can get our own back on taxi drivers (sorry Hermy!) with these - just stick on the hazards, slow down a bit, speed up a bit, stop in the middle of the road etc :)

Yeah and we can start offering unsolicited opinions on the government and immigrants while we are at it!

It's just doesn't have the same je ne sais quoi having your letter printed in the Indo though as it does in the Times.... what do you think Gavin?

People who write to the Times use quills, people who write to the Indo use pencils, people who write to the Herald use crayons. At least that's how it goes in my mind.

Having ascended to the heady heights of Irish Times pontificating, dropping to the average level of the Independent would be most ignominious.

And I'm assuming those who use pens are too busy working to write letters?
