    2 deals I've used on this trip 1,Book(Web tariff) 14 days ahead and get upto 70%. So Madrid to Burgos , 300km, normaly €32 I paid €13.
    2. Book in the 24 hours immediately before departure and get 40 or 50%. I paid €24 Gijon to Madrid, 500km. This is called (Ultima Hora). You might meet to be a bit flexible which train you get. These are all on the web. You will need credit card and printer for ticket. I think there is also a special deal on last minute tickets for AVE (high speed trains) but that didn't come up for me on tip trip.

    The site has a few language options.

    Bottom left of home page"selecciones su idioma" English is there. If not available for all pages folow "promociones y ofertas" Then "web tarife" and as above "ultima hora" My Spanish is not great but am able to spot lower prices when displayed
