I heard there is some unofficial base pub for Leinster where Heinos are only £1.50? I can't find anything online about it.

Looks like some of us are going to be sleeping in a car as well for this, no bother to me.

It's the Walkabout as far as I know. Discount on food too.

Get yourself very drunk then get a Walkabout burger. Sensational.

Embra is really really good, there are loads of good bars, think the Seven Sisters is another one that should have a few Leinster fans in it.

It's the three sisters but you're right, it's a good spot. I remember from the group game that the Walkabout is great during the day but gets a bit messy at night.

4 of us at the same crack Photojoe, 4 in a car for the night & early start to the ferry on Sunday.

Definitely be trying the Walkabout, I'll pass on the Heineken though.

I have a funny feeling both walkabout and the 3 sisters and going to be a bit of a nightmare tomorrow and I'd say will probably head other places aswell.

Is the Walkabout a proper boozer or is it some dreadful sports bar the like of which we'd have in Temple Bar?

Anyone staying there let me recommend
Espionage. Its great fun, lots of different music on the different floors etc

Walkabout is alright. I was there about 4 years ago for an Ireland Scotland match. It does get messy. It's a bank holiday weekend over there so if you're heading somewhere get there early and claim a seat or a corner. Finegan's Wake is ok. There was another pub in the Grassmarket/Haymarket area that was good. I can't remember what it was called but it was across the road from a good strip club.

I can heartily recommend Big Daddy-O's on the Lothian Rd. A bar with a difference. Spent a great evening there on the last trip. Someone, someone please go and give me your feedback. Deacon Brodie's and The Last (maybe Long) Drop up in The Grassmarket are good too. Caledonian on bottom of Princes St is rough and ready, good location wise for the trip down the Corstorphine Rd to Murrayfield.

    Be safe

I'm trying to sort out some accom now, going for the cancelled bookings market. Emailing places showing them auctions for hotel rooms that are otherwise cancelled seeing if they will cut a deal.

Do not know of anything official, but Waxy O'Connors is an irish bar next to Queen Street station. There is a Walkabout a few minutes from there as well. With trains to Edinburgh every 15 minutes from Queen Street, there should be some people in that general area.

I will probably go to Republic around lunchtime, it is a bar a little further away, but they have steins of beer and nice pizza, then the train over :)
