Well the Roman numerals for 30 are XXX.... coincidence?

    Yes

Just keep enjoying yourself as you are doing. Many of the so-called limits people associate with age are just self-imposed.

And have perspective - when you're 40 you'll be dying to be 30.

Just think of it; you can look back on this when you're 39 and laugh. Laugh a bitter and hardened laugh.

    :P

Nothing wrong about being thirty. In 10 years you might be a MILF!

There is no good points. The best I can do is point out you're a woman and don't have to worry about anything major over the next few years.....unlike blokes do, baldness really seems to kick in around 30.

I am dreading turning 30 although I have started to accept it over the last few years hopefully by the time it comes around and with the assistance of alcohol it will be a smooth transition.

Fear not anniehoo. As Pighead always says when he's flirting with his old aunties:
“Older women are like aging Apple Tarts- the crust may not be so lovely, but the filling has come at last into its own.”

30, when you hit 40 you'll want to be 30 again.

Tomorrow you enter your fourth decade.

Bet that makes you feel better.

    1. You've more self possesion and confidence than you had 10 years ago.
    2. You've more life experience and more ability to deal with life's crap as a result than you had 10 years ago.
    3. You're ten years closer to your sexual peak, which in a woman is in her late 30's.
    4. You're a lot more likely to speak up if you're being shortchanged, literally or otherwise.
    5. You've got your looks still, and you know how to use them.
    6. You're a lot less likely to make stupid mistakes, like the wrong men, the wrong career, or worst of all the wrong shoes, than you were 10 years ago.

    0 - 10 was your first decade
    10 - 20 was your second.
    20 - 30 was your third.
    30 - 40 will be your forth.

I don't understand why people get all bent out of shape about particular birthdays; 18, 21, 30 and 40. It doesn't make any sense I mean 28, 29, 30, 31 is the same to me as 24, 25, 26, 27.

Oddly enough, nobody who hits the end of the few decades beyond 40 seems too bothered.

I'll be 30 in a few months. Couldn't give a fcuk. It is, but a number! I don't look thirty, or act it  Tbh, I feel much more confident than I did in my teens or early twenties. And that, can be dangerous ;)
