    Hi there.
I am in dire need of help and here's my predicament.

I am a 19 year old student sitting my leaving certificate. I am male, I am about 5ft 7" tall (or small depending on how you look at it, lol)
I have always been a health and fitness addict, and always managed to stay pretty muscular or lean. How ever, I have recently jumped up almost a stone and a half, in the space of 2 months just from bad eating and lack of exercise. The later of which is understandable due to my studies.

So, I have been thinking as soon as my exams are finished I want to tone up and get as strong as possible. The only problem here is I can't afford a gym membership and I only have light free weight's here at home. So I am wondering has any one got any advice on a fast way of getting toned up?

Any thing at all is appreciated.
    Thanks for reading :pac:

Sorry for the double post but I realised my opening is very vague.
What I am looking for is some sort of work out plan I can do for an hour a day, and become stronger, have bigger arms, tone up more core area (I need badly), get fit again and possible become more flexible.

Again sorry for the double post.

There's one but its 9 euro a visit and quite far away.

Like I was hoping some one would tell me push ups are magic, and sit ups work.
Like I am a bit of a novice when it comes to this stuff.

    Probably not gonna happen.

    That awful pricey.
The ones I have started using are 6.5 a visit.

Crap, well I think my only hope is to just try jogging, push ups, sit ups, sprinting and pull ups here at home.

Bit naive of me to expect an "easy" way about this.

But thanks for your reply :D

Chins/pull ups. Dips between two bars for chest/triceps. standing on hand press ups. sprinting for legs etc. push ups. hanging leg raises, planks etc for core. lunges, single leg squats etc. You can do all without a gym, find a local playground/park with bars/goalposts etc you can workout on. improve your diet, more protein etc.

You'll need to lift heavy ****, so find some way of getting a decent weight set.

www.irish-lifting.com should be able to help you here. Hopefully your parents have some manner of "congratulations on finishing the leaving" present for you. It should be weights.

As for exercises, check out www.CrossFit.com for a boat load of exercise examples and routines.
