Hey all,

The Ladbrokes Pub Poker Gigs in Waterford are building nicely and we will be moving up to two nights a week in Masons. This will also be included in the League which will start in June . The game will be a 20k starting stack and a €50 Buy in . This Game will start each week at 8.30pm.

All venues will run on a league basis and will ahve money deducted from the pool for packages to Killarney we will also have giveaways at the events from Ladbrokes . League Starts June 4th

No not really its a Dealer dealt event in a venue we do not own.€10 would be the minimum we can run this event at .

3 Dealers on for the night and the use of Tables Chips Cards etc ...

20 Players = €200 to the Organisers
Of that -
€30 Diesel and set up costs
Wages - €180 (3 Staff)
Posters and Advertising €40

Total Profit = -€40

The figures are based on 20 players, it's breakeven at 24 players as the expenses will remain the same & profit after that. If it remains at 20 players only 2 dealers will be required & a saving there.

I'm sure there might also be a cash game which will also generate a profit

Well Ian,

Nope as thats not part of the registration ,The figures i gave above are operational and not from the prizepool but based on the registartion fee? Most tournaments are loss leaders these days and its the Cash Game or Games that allow the Operator make any profit ..

The reason we would run the event at the moment is to make sure we still have 2-3 Games going before we get our Planning for the New Casino . We should have word this week on the premises ..
