Apparently the footage is over a year old. Hopefully this leak will prompt them to show new stuff at E3.

Amazing that after watching a 4 minute trailer, I'm totally in love with the kitty dragon thing as well... There's no way this could be anything other than legit, it just screams "Team Ico"

Trico suggests third ico, doesnt it? Im not so sure about the kitty dragon, it just looks weird and looks like its going to be a cross between Argo and a Colossus. that footage is very early looking so i wouldnt take this as the final product yet

Yes, this would be the 'third ico'..

Parts look 'early', some wonky lighting here and there. But the animation looks quite advanced. I think the cat-dragon thing looks really good, its animation is very well done.

I'm sure it will look more advanced if not a bit different next time we see it..this footage is supposedly over a year old now.

Been dying to hear of a sequel to Shadow of the Collossus, but this looks beautiful aswell, the architecture and everything is very similiar.

I love the look of it and something tells me I'll be in tears by the end of the game. Cat dragon thing has totally endeared itself to me already.

His/her wings don't look big enough to actually let him/her take flight.

I can see it being able to bound fairly great distances though, cat-like.

Just for comparison, here is the early build trailer for Shadow of the Colossus, back when it was known as 'Nico'.

My guess is that the companion beast is close to final build, but that the protagonist is a placeholder - as he stands out quality wise.

So hyped for this, hoping for some information at E3 or TGS this year

I'd agree, the protagonist has noticeably a lot less detail in this clip. Having never played an Ico game I didn't know if this was part of their art style or not.

I mean I only finished Shadow of the Colossus a while ago and I am currently playing Ico. Just absolute magic.

The kid does look very like the little boy in Ico and also very like the placeholder characters in the 'Nico' trailer, but I don't think the final protagonist will look like that. It'll probably be a kid. Wouldn't it be cool if the baby griffon and the kid grow up together throughout the course of the game?

noodler needs to give me back my copy of Shadow of the Colossus so that I can play through it again!

When I got back, college ate up so much of my time I just never bothered with a console. Will be getting this game though when it's released.

I'm the same, although it was because I was a PC gamer and couldn't afford a console as well. I bought a 60GB PS3 and based on the advice of people here on Boards bought a load of PS2 games that I had missed out on. Shadow of the Colossus is really something special, I've never played anything like it. I guess I'm a bit of an artfag when it comes to games like this, but I think almost everyone would love the game, the ending in particular is very powerful. If PS2 backwards compatability gets introduced via software or something these games should be the top of your list!

Get a PS2 on the cheap with these games! It's better than legendary and sonic unleashed anyway :P
