Yes I saw that there last year

I assumed it was for fire drill training , rather like the 737 that sits in Dublin

    However that was an assumption

There is a chopped down fuselage at the Fire Station (beside Tom Cooks) but it's a Trident not a Comet. Don't think there's a comet in the aviation park either.

That's in the aviation park, but there's also a fwd fuselage section (pretty battered up) at the fire station beside thomas cooks and the other hangars, thought he was asking about that one.

    No it aint G-AWZK

The other one sounds more like it .

As i said i thought it looked like a comet body ,it was only a quick glimpse i got when we were getting off the plane.

Is it a t1,2 or 3 do you know?

I know T1 G-ARPK and T2 G-AVFG were there till 2006 maybe its whats left of one of them(not much)

    Hi,

Two things , I now realise I was mistaken , it was Gatwick I was thinking of there is ( was ) a comet dumped there.

That picture Mythago does indeed show this is a Trident , if you look at the cockpit windows OP and compare that to a comet , quite different.

    Typical Manchester day eh !
