Finding a good physiotherapist in Dublin.

    Hi guys,

I'm new on boards.ie and I'd appreciate a recommendation for a good physiotherapist in Dublin, preferably the city center.

I have posture problems and bladder control issues. I am trying to lose some weight, and what I don't want is a physio who specializes in sports injuries, or someone who gives lots of dietary advice (that's my nutritionist's job). I want someone who is friendly, professional, and will listen to me, and help me with my problems.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Laura

    Hi Laura,

Your GP is the best first option. He/she will then refer you to a specialist. I don't think it's common for a patient to contact a specialist directly without a referral (at least I think that's how it's done... ...).
