I have an iMac G4 flat panel machine that has not been in use for around 6 months. It was in perfect working order while it was in use but since it came out of hibernation it hasn't even shown a flicker of life.

I did all the obvious sort of stuff like change the power cable (I work in an office with Macs so power cables are easy to come by) and I even changed the PRAM battery and while the base was open I reset the PMU by pressing the reset button. But still no joy!

Has anyone here got a solution to this problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
