A couple of events start in Wicklow, or at least in the deep south(side). I am based in the northside. Being able to take my bike onto the DART would make a gentle start to the day. Anybody do this, ever? Which stations are good/bad (carrying a bike in cycling shoes could be tricky on some of those bridges)?

AFAIK only folding bikes are allowed on the DART.

But, as someone rather cleverly suggested here before, remove your wheels, put a refuse sack over the whole thing and hey presto - it's just a big parcel!
