Wrong expiry date printed on boarding pass

I checked in on-line with ryanair. I put in the wrong expiry date on passport by 9 days. Put in 10th instead of 1st! Would be ok to use this? I don't think they will notice and even if they do should it be a big deal or should I contact ryanair before I travel and tell them.

    Thanks,

I read the othe day on Ryanair web site that you can reprint boarding cards up to 40 mins to check in.

Ya but I'm nearly sure it costs a few quid to change any details on it.

You could be lucky and get away with it. I travelled last weekend and had the online check-in boarding card and they just had a quick glance at it and my passport and let me through. It looks like it was just the name they were checking.

Once you have checked in no further changes can be made.

You could try and get away with it but that depends on how quickly they want to board your flight. Sometimes they look closely sometimes they dont.
It will be a chance you take.

The other option is to book another flight.

I'd say you are taking a chance but a relatively small one at that. If it was your name that was printed wrong I'd be more worried. They rarely seem to take much notice of the expiry date but you could get unlucky.

Just as back up Id bring a drivers license too, it might help your case a small bit if you did get stopped.
Also get into the boarding Q while it is still busy but near the end. Then hopefully after they have boarded over 100 people their concentration is lacking somewhat :pac:

This happened with my mom, the wrong expiry was on the boarding pass. She just rang up either Aer Lingus or Ryanair and they said to just go up to the check-in desk and they will reprint it for you no problem.

For the Heineken cup final there last weekend we Dublin to Durham Tees valley return...

The first time my passport was checked was coming back into Dublin by the Border Police. It wasn't even checked before coming to security etc leaving Dublin. They didn't even check it before boarding the plane to match it with what was on my boarding pass...

    I was quite surprised...

Wouldn't worry about it, last yr my passport expiry was 1 week after flight & it wouldn't allow me to web check-in, adjusted expiry by one year, printed & boarded the A/C no problem.

Admittedly I was flying home to get a new passport at the time. Provided your passport number is the same you should be fine
