A really bad episode. A crap conclusion to the Dave storyline and a stupid cliffhanger. Does anybody really care about Mike and Susan at this stage?

I'd give it a 5 out of 10.Bree was excellent(as per usual) but other stories very poor for a finale.I'm not surprised it only averaged 13.9 mil stateside for that ep,24% down on last seasons finale rating!

Thing with this show and Ugly Betty and Grey's is uber hype...hot women, lots of promotion. Great first season and they all fall flat....they can't sustain. I always felt these shows were dire.

I dont care who mike is marrying but was delighted to see the result of david dash and not hav to wait til Jan to see what happens lil MJ

And what about lynette ha was hilarious..

Fair response. Was delighted (and hugely relieved) to discover that Lynette's cancer had not returned but that she was pregnant. Her initial response to her doctor was hilarious.

As much as I admire and can completely relate to Lynette, Bree is the most complex, intriguing and sexual character. In my humble opinion (and I'm pretty sure my boyfriend wholeheartedly agrees!)...

I have a theory, It is neither Katherine or Susan in the wedding dress.
Neither were shown, But I think if it is one of the 2 then it is Susan as Karl was there..

Dave wasn't killed off people and I REALLY think that we will see a crazy escaped Dave in the future..

Gabby's newest addition to the house seems to have a back-story as her aunt said "Do they know about *whatever her name was*"..

One thing I despised is Lynette and her news, Dear god.. WHY?
Seriously it's like all they know how to do when it comes to her is for her to shoot out baby after baby when we know she can be given the A list storylines (Remember "Bang" everyone?).

Tom is annoying this whole season and now this is only going to add to the annoyance of both I believe but I seriously hope not!

Only started watching this during this season as GF moved in and forced to, god the ending was crap! why not a lost type ending where we havent a clue? crap ending with cyco Band Of brother guy, all season we have waited for him to do something and he does nothign???? what a crap story line

I've always hated the storylines that involve the children, they always fizzle out because the producers are afraid to do anything bad to them

I cant stand Lynette at all. I know she is a good mother but she the most controlling and devious out of all the housewives. She is always meddling in other peoples lives to get what she wants

e.g Getting the woman that Carlos hired fired
Making sure Tom got drunk before the exams

There are tons of other examples throughout the shows history where she is always plotting and planning to get her own way. Out least Gabi is honest about it.

I was so hoping that Susan would be killed off. She adds nothing to the show.

One other thing that really pisses me off with the lates season is that Orsen caused Bree's death yet he is not one bit fased by it.

The poster must have meant Edie. Remember, he ran out in front of her car when she was driving away from Dave after he tried to strangle her, causing her to crash into the pole.

complete anti climax after such a long drawn out build up , dave,s uturn at the end completley lacked credibility , i suspect it was a case of in tv land you cant kill a kid especially when the audience is mainly women and i suspect they couldnt kill mike either as the audience is mainly women

It was a terrible finale with the only good parts being Karl and Bree and Karen McCluskey (hopefully they are made series regulars next season)

It was terrible as finales go. Awful tripe, it is so obvious who mike marries, it can only be Susan.

I really feel they lost the plot (pun intended!) this series. It all seemed so disjointed, I could understand if it was the year of the writers' strike but that was last year! The Dave storyline just seemed to stop and start and then, EVENTUALLY, fizzled out, I know they had Gale Harold's mokorbike accident to contend with but surely they should still have been able to carry on with the other plots.

I feel like NOTHING really happened this series in terms of the characters developing, if anything they went backwards to selfish, spoilt rich Gabby, controlling Bree (am I the only one who feels sorry for Orson? He went to jail for her, lost his profession as a result and she can't even give him a proper job in her business? :eek: He's also the one who reconciled her and Andrew which seems to have been forgotten about as well), pregnant Lynette and - probably - Mike and Susan back together when we never really saw them splitting up in the first place 'cos of the 5 year jump.

It still has some brilliant one-liners and potentially great characters but really feel the writers are on auto-pilot at this point.

agree about mrs mccluskey , shes the only real bad girl in suburbia , steals every scene shes in and her sister is a card played brilliantly by the great lily tomlin

Hopefully they get more scenes next season

That was... not good.

The 'mystery' wasn't much of a mystery, really. I think everyone had figured out who Dave was after and why three or four episodes into the season. The buildup then just wasn't worth it. Dragged out all season and then everything resolved in a couple of scenes.

I could not care less who Mike marries. He has absolutely no chemistry with Katherine and we've yet to just see him and Susan be a normal couple so I'm not invested in them at all. I hope whoever it is involves a nice long honeymoon which means they'd be out of the show for a while.

Speaking of weddings, isn't Bree's son engaged? Has that been completely forgotten about? And where the hell have Bob and Lee been for the past few episodes.

Lynette being pregnant, I couldn't really care about. It was obvious anyway, but I'm just glad it's not the cancer again. I hope there's something interesting they can do with it next season - Felicity Huffman does drama so well that it's a shame to not give her the storylines to match.

Gabby and Carlos' storyline could be interesting. I quite like the girl playing Ana. As long as it doesn't stray too far into Kayla territory, it should be okay.

I'm most disappointed with what they've done to Orson this series. When he joined, he was one of my favourite characters. He found Andrew in the city, he was there for Bree constantly and he saved her from his nutcase of a mother. They were a brilliant, well-matched couple. Now he's a controlling, irritating kleptomaniac.

Bree and Karl are fantastic together! I think they work so well because they're both quite old-fashioned characters. The sleazy lawyer versus the perfect housewife. They fit well together and there was chemistry there. I'm just dreading what the writers will do to them next season. If they destroyed Orson, they can destroy anyone.

If you feel it has got worse over the years then you shouldn't watch it again but you know it won't happen and you'll all want to know what happens in the next series.;)

I thought it was a great ending other than the Dave storyline. Should've just killed Mike in the end after all the close calls he's had over the years.:pac:
