Hi all, Im a current sky customer (basic package) and would like to upgrade to HD and Sports. Talked to them on the phone and looks like 60-70 euro a mth and 99 setup and box
This seems a joke when new customers are getting good deals on same. Does anyone know of a way around this ? I suppose I could cancel and then rejoin under wifes name but seems like a bit of nonsense.
Im also using the red eyes so that I dont have to pay multi room. Would and installer have a problem with this if I do get a HD box ?
Thanks in advance for any advice :D

The latest deals for Sky HD are exactly the same for exsisting and new customers. Every1 pay exactly the same for the subcription rates...it is only for the equipment that new customers usually do better but not for Hd as the box is currently €49 for either new or exisitng and €50 for the install.

I also think it's unfair new customers are looked after and not their loyal customers. I wanted to get in SKY+, but wasn't going to pay more money than a new customer pays.

So I searched for their e-mail address on google and got a few of digital spy. I then e-mailed them all, after four days they rang me and offered it to me as a new customer. I just told them the truth, they need to pay attention to their loyal customers.

I sadly lost the e-mail addresses, but I'm sure you'll find them easy like I did on google. Good Luck.
