Serious and motivated guitar player in Dublin City centre (27y)

Hi all

I'm a 27 years old french guitarist based in Dublin city centre (D1-D7). Professional, contract with my company, no plans to leave the island.

I've been playing for 9 years now, and arrived in this country two years ago. My English is by far perfectible, but music is a universal language right?

So, I miss the band stuff/work. I'm looking for either a band or lone musicians who would like to tag with me.
When I say I'm serious, it doesn't mean I'll show up at rehearsals with a tie and a big mouth. Means I'm looking for concrete stuff... I can work hard, I expect gigs and studio work. At the moment my career takes a huge place because you need a goal (and money) in life, but if I find the right people there's no telling what can happen; music always has been the path I could never take and fully devote myself to because I need the right team mates to do this. And so far I got unlucky... I need a good leader and people around me I can rely on.

My influences are wide and are all mixed up in my work. I enjoy sweet balads with great arangements, and the moment after some good Pumpkin-esque, wild, saturated sounds.
Acoustic is fine, but I don't feel like playing this all the time. I'm defenitely a electric guitar player. Not a virtuoso, just a lover.

If you're around we can defenitely go and have a drink, or jam sometime. I have some personal work which I would be delighted to show (nothing professional, some projects recorded on Garage Band using a POD XT, but represents well what I do), and getting advices from better musicians is also important to me.

So (this almost sounds like a cover letter) if you're interested or need a guitar player for some rock project - I'm not really into hardcore, reggae, pop stuff to be honest - please consider my person and send me a PM :P
