    Does anybody know details of a Kenpo club run by Sifu Shay McNamee? I hear there is one in Dublin 1 somewhere near store st and I'd love to find it. I uesd to train with him years ago and i think he's a great instructor.

    Last I heard of Sifu Shay he was running classes in or beside the radio city/Isaac Butt building beside Store street Garda Station. I saw a sign for his classes but this is going back to last August so he could've moved You can always talk to the lads In http://www.wildgeesema.com/index.htm where he use to train!

    Sifu Shay is still doing classes in Radio City.... I know he is there on Saturdays about 12 noon.... did you have any luck tracking him down? He is a great instructor.... I have trained with him for many years

    Thanks for that, I havent had any luck yet. I walked over to the radio city building thismorning to see if i seen any signs or anything but didnt see anything. He is great, i trained with him in leeson street, i remember there was someone there sifu shay always referred to as Shelly and he had great respect for. Was that you? I will go back out there this saturday to take a look.

    I trained with him from 2001 to 2008 as in 2007 I got married and moved home to Kilkenny. I got my red belt with him in 2006. I was the only Shelly with him at the time, he gave me the nick name Shellybells... I was in Leeson Street until 2004 when we moved to Pearse Street. Some of the lads still train out of Pearse Street but Sify Shay does his thing across from Bus Aras. I will be going back up to him for some Saturday classes soon to keep it brushed up. I only have Kickboxing in KK but may be starting back at the Kenpo soon in KK.... I miss it so much!!! Keep me posted on how you get on... if you call Radio City and speak with James the owner/director, he will be able to advise you as they are good friends.

    We've actually moved. Sifu shay is now holding classes in Belvedere college mon to thur from 6.30 to 8pm and saturdays in Crumlin from 12.30 (Dont know the location). We'll be moving again before the end of the year to a new permanent studio in 'Space 28' on Bachelors Walk. You can check out the clubs Facebook page at this address...
