Is it a nice place to stay? I havent been in it for years. Not looking for anything too fancy, just clean and welcoming would suffice. Going for meal in Jaipur Sunday night and might surprise the wife with a hotel as they have good rates at the moment

The grand hotel is a lovely place to stay . Also the White sands hotel is very nice . But I would Also recommend the Portmarnock golf links hotel .

The Grand is s nice hotel but I got lost in the maze of corridors to find bedrooms.

Portmanrock Hotel have a 15% sale on might be worth a look.

Portmarnock room only €127, Grand Hotel €74. Plus meal is in Malahide so save on taxi fare. Im sure Portmarnock is fancier and all that but Id prefer to stay somewhere in Malahide.
