You catch eyes with a hot guy and lets say you fancy him (or evenly you dont fancy him)

Now what if he approaches you and says hi. and like the conversation starts as a casual conversation. nothin frisky like

a) would you talk to him
b) not talk to him

Of course you should talk to him if you want to and not be rude by ignoring him. If you dont want to talk to him then make your excuses...

I would, if approached by a guy, be suspicious to start with but would not shoot him down from the get go.

Well that sort of threw me a little. So I wanted to find out more girls opinions on it.

A girl talked to me once at the bus stop on Hawkins Street. We both tried to get on a bus really crowded, I mean almost overflowing, with Spanish students. So as the driver closed the door she said "What country are we in again?" or something similar.

I just laughed and sat down to look at some photos I'd had developed. She proceeded to sit right beside me and ask me what they were. To be honest, it felt like she was invading my personal space a bit, but she was younger so I just chatted to her for a while till the bus came.

I've no idea why I shared this story. It seemed relevant when I started it.

Sure, I'd chat away if a guy approached me (i'd never initiate the conversation myself).
It'd be safe enough too, under the circumstances described in OP. It's not like he'd spring some surprise sex on me in the middle of a busy city center.
