audi a4 1.6 help

    hi peeps! looking for a bit of help here for a friend.

    the cars a b5 1.6 and shes idling a bit rough. shes hovering between 750 and 1500 rpm. i cant get at the maf cos i dont have a star head with a hole in it nor can i get to the icv, cant find the throttle cable twitching, etc.

    any ideas?

    hey, i had the same problem with my celica, it could possibly be the oxygen sensor, a diagnostic tool can tell you, mecanics charge about 40 euro to check it, or as many suggest, it can just need a good tune up

    Bring it to a mechanic and get the idle control valve cleaned or replaced.

    your safest bet really would be to get the diagnostic tool put on the car, if its anything electric it will find it
