Hey started playing badminton again this year with a racket my mam has had since 1986, it wasnt until i handled a few of the other rackets that i noticed the substantial weight difference between them so obvioulsy i need a new one, so ....

Where is the best place to buy new badminton rackets and which are the best, yonnex, charlton or wilson, price isnt a major concern cause il pay to make sure i get a good one.

I saw a wilson racket in elverys for €150 but all they had is the one type, rubbish selection

    Hi Officer Giggles,

I have played for years and the best place that I have found for Rackets is definatly Martyn Evans Sports. The staff are unbelievably helpful and you can take the rackets outside and have a swing. I bought my own racket, two racketbags, all my club shuttles, and 8 rackets for my club and they really looked after me. The shop is in Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club in Donnybrook. The rackets range from about €20 up to prob about €180... Also has a website http://www.rackets.ie/

His son's play lenister and Ireland so they definatly know what they're talking about! :)
