Forestry tinnings & trees

    Hi looking for large qty of clean timber {tinnings or full trees} , i can cut and take away myself , perfebly in hardwood but softwood will do in the galway area . It will be used for firewood for a log gasifiction boiler . Any idears .

    Get on to the local Teagasc forester, you will get her number on the website. They often have farmers and landowners who are looking for contractors to do thinnings.
    There is a huge amount of first thinnings in broadleafs coming through now and there is little or no marker for them.
