    I have a 20gb Japanese PS3. Just wondering how much do they sell for?

    is there anything special about Japanese PS3's since they're all region free games wise?

    Is the 20GB Japanese back compat?

    AFAIK the JAP PS3 will be region locked for blu ray movies. ( Games will be fine ) and depending on the game itself downloadable content may be restricted also. With a 20gb memory being a bit off the pace of the current 80gbs it could effect the value.

    BUT the big plus is your PS3 is more than likely backward compatible so it will fetch a premium for you. Very hard to value it in the current market but you'd probably get more for it than an original 40gb.

    Japan is Region A for Bluray just like North America. Not a bad thing to have.

    Just trying to figure out if some people would want them.

    I brought mine home with me in case I got better at reading and writing to take a stab at one of the RPGs.

    It's backward compatible with japanese PS2 and PS1. There is a list online for the PS1 games but katakana is very irritating to read after awhile.

    I could get any of the old consoles with games sent over. Just wondering if I should bother.
