There is a beautiful italian restaurant in the Kildare Retail (Designer)Outlet .It is a sister restaurant of one at the Dunrum Centre .Rather classy, authentic and not bad value.

The Silken Thomas have a nice menu and if you eat in the bar (instead of the restaurant next door) then the prices are OK as well, they also do a carvery but I'm not sure if that's just at weekends or not.

The chicken & mushroom voulavant is one of my faves :).

Just remember to hand your parking ticket slip over at the bar when you pay your bill to get the fee reimbursed.

The Hangedmans in Milltown do a good value Sunday lunch menu, but you'd need to make a reservation.

The restaurant in Newbridge Silverware is very nice. Silken Thomas does a great breakfast before 12 and the carvery there afterwards is ok.

Other than that - it is few and far between (Donne & cresendi?? also in Kildare Village).
