Elite Martial Arts in conjunction with Torres BJJ are going to be running a Submission Wrestling Tournament on Sunday June 28th at our premises: Unit 9, Milltown Industrial Estate, Warrenpoint, Co. Down, BT34 3FN.
For anyone who knows Submission grappling they will be aware that Sebastian Torres is one of the most recognized grapplers not only in this country but his own.

3x Brazilian Champion for Judo, he was also very successful in BJJ competition. Since coming here he has picked up gold in his weight, and open categories in competitions all around the country for both Judo and BJJ. When approached about co-hosting this event with Sebastian we were more than happy to oblige.

Entry Fees for the event will be £15/20 Euro per section, and £10 in addition if you will be competing in the absolute section. The Divisions will be split into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced (for people who are confused of their ranking its generally below 12 months for beginner, below 36 months for intermediate, and anything above could be classed in the advanced section. Although listings are entirely down to the competitors and we suggest the best way is listen to your coaches for which section most accurately reflects your abilities). Weigh-ins for the event will be conducted at 9:30, with the first match proceeding at 10:30.
