Bit scary out there at the moment just lucky I got out of INM when I did(although could be looking good for friday and monday). BOI were all over the place to day most graphs didnt show it but they were down to 88 cent a couple of mins after opening people getting out, then up to 1.10 In 2hrs.

I think there will be buying with IN&M tommorow and next week with investors hoping to be in for bounce on agreement with bondholders.

INM is independent media as in the Irish independent right??

What are the future prospects for this company? Where will they generate revenue growth? I'm not talking about short term here, I'm talking medium (2-5 years). I have no criticisms (for a change;)) I 'd genuinely like to know why one should look at adding them to ones portfolio. Enlighten me.

    Cheers in advance.

    Chairman's Address

Your board and management continue to look at the corporate structure to maximise efficiency and cash
earnings. We recently sold finda.co.nz and banked some meaningful cash from what was a promising,
    but ultimately a non-core investment.
Happily in these still-turbulent credit markets, APN continues to receive good support from our funding
partners. We have recently accepted an offer for a new five year, $50 million asset finance facility with the
Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). This will provide greater flexibility in relation to any upcoming
    maturities.
APN has strong cash flows, reduced capex, good banking relationships and, with a conservative
approach to dividends, expects to reduce debt in 2009 and 2010. As at the end of April, with the inclusion
of the new CBA facility, APN has in excess of $120 million in cash and undrawn facilities.

Pirelli, I have no interest in corporate waffle whatsoever.
These guys can/will promise the earth.

Wasn't it Eugene Sheehy who was saying he'd rather die than ask for help from the govt. or something similar?

I'm interested in the fundamentals baby!

Have significant alcohomol on me at the moment, but it appears to be a dilution of shares there? I'd be less than happy with that (depending on my investment profile). I truely believe this kind of thing should be broken down to ABC kind of stuff for investors. Why wouldn't a company do this unless they had something to hide?

    Initial thoughts anyway.

They have a debt of over 1.2 billion, they have an overdue bond which they have postponed payment of to gather funds, there are 1.2 billion more of these bonds that will be coming due in the future.

Also there is this resolution coming up in a few weeks and appears to be a dilution of shares?

    http://www.inmplc.com/investor-relat...ce-of-meeting/

Resolution 5 The nominal value of the ordinary shares of the Company is €0.30 and exceeds the
current market price of the Company’s ordinary shares on the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange
of €0.27 as at the 5 May 2009 (being the latest practical date prior to the issue of this Circular). An
Irish company is prohibited by law from issuing shares at a price below their nominal value.
Accordingly, in order to facilitate future issues of shares, it is proposed to effect a renominalisation of
the Company’s share capital by way of the subdivision of each issued ordinary share into six shares of
nominal value €0.05 each; the consolidation and redesignation of five of every six such shares into one
deferred share of nominal value €0.25 resulting in each existing issued ordinary share becoming one
ordinary share of €0.05 and one deferred share of €0.25 (“Deferred Shares”) and the existing
authorised and unissued ordinary shares being sub-divided into 6 ordinary shares of €0.05 each.
Resulting ordinary shares of €0.05 will have the same rights as the ordinary shares of €0.30 from
which they derive. Share certificates for existing ordinary shares will remain valid for the same
number of ordinary shares of €0.05 arising. The Deferred Shares will have no voting rights; in effect
no right to a return of capital on a winding up and will not be listed and will in effect be valueless. No
share certificates in respect of the Deferred Shares will be issued. The subdivision and consolidation
does not affect the rights of the holders of ordinary shares.

Not worried about quoted dillution as i am holding for med-long term, o,brien and management team will return this stock to profit.

It's not a dilution of share. I am extra extra sorry for asking you, If they were to dilute shares we would know about it. They do not announce these matters typically on AGM but would announce them overall.:(

I had read the AGM and was not sure what it meant so I asked IXUS if it was a dilution. He said that it looked like it was , so the paranoia went from there.

I checked this out and it is not a dilution but merely technicalities that are contained in all AGMS.

So missed a 12 % profit but lesson learned.

P.S Ixus also mentioned he was consuming alcohol. I kind of should listened harder to that part of what he was saying.
