WANT TO GRADE-UP MY CAMARA

    Have a fuji finepix s602zoom. Has done me great service for 6 years. Would like to move up and on to a better SLR dig. Things I would like to improve on is turn around time between shots. The auto focus on the 602 was poor in low light conditions. The quality of shots in low light conditions was also poor.

    Should I go for a Canon or Nikon. Would rate myself as a happy go lucky photo person. Money not a major issue, but not a fool.

    Thanks for all advice.:):confused::p

    Any of the newer DSLRs or bridge models will do you, plenty of advice on how to go about picking one in the "So you are looking for a new camera" sticky.

    third recommendation here for what both nilhg and tallon recommend (ok - admission here, I did create it ;) ) Run through it, and then post back with subsequent queries.

    I loved my fuji bridge of many moons ago but a move to dSLR will do exactly what you have described.

    Post back if you've any further queries after going through the thread.

    Cheers.

    Looking at the Canon eos 500d . This is a camera I think I could build on and learn. Like to shoot wildlife and my dogs. Some of what I have done with the 602 on www.bellewstownkennels.com . Kind Regards:):):)
