It's not official yet. That story even says it stands a chance to be picked up by ABC or a cable station next year. Don't know if I'd like the show without Tyler Labine, though.

    eh no great loss

i enjoyed the show to begin with but really outside of the last episode or two it failed to really develop outside of a 'monster of the week' show.

    On an unrelated note :P

    Dear Richard,

Pray harder for terminator to return!

TBH...i would prefer Dollhouse to return if i had a choice, but both coming back would be awesome.

C*ck. I really like that show. I hope ABC pick it up, if only because Ray Wise is excellent as the Devil. Not the biggest fan of Sock but he does bring something that holds everyone together in the show. Hopefully it will still be good without him.

I think Tyler has a new show

Damn, really enjoyed this show. Will probably end on an unresolved cliffhanger aswell

Even if it did get picked up by another network I don't think it'd be the same without sock

The show is awesome imo, really hoped it will be either picked up by someone else or it gets to continue somehow, plus Missy Peregrym(or however its spelt) is fairly damn hot.

most idiotic statement ever made by a human being.

usually less than twenty minutes of each episode was devoted to the escaped soul, the rest was to the guys other shenanigans

    ray wise is awesome
    best show in years

Good show that had moments of greatness. Can see why it was cancelled though.

Still sad to see it go especially because of Ray Wise cracking me up on a weekly basis. "I am the lord of ass!".

it got cancelled for the same reason all the other greats show that died before their time - Americans are jack asses

That's not a fair or true statement. There are millions of intellectual and well educated Americans. Same way thousands of Irish people are jackasses - doesn't make all of us jackasses.

Reaper, although not officially cancelled yet, doesn't really stand a chance because it's on the CW, which has the lowest ratings of the big 5 networks - it was up against shows like American Idol in its Tuesday night timeslot, so the ratings were never going to be great. It barely got renewed for the second season, so a third is incredibly ambitious, although it is still on the cards.
At the end of the day television is a business and Reaper was underperforming, so why should the CW keep shelling out money to keep it going.
Fortunately, the reason they had given it in the Tuesday night slot, because the show was potentially one of the best that the network had - they've since realised the show could do very well on another night of the week and a third series is still being considered.
Unfortunately, Tyler Labine (Sock) will not be in Reaper because of his new show Sons of Tuscon, so this could be a major factor in the renewal process, because Labine and Ray Wise are easily the most popular actors on the show and with one of them removed from the mix, it probably won't work as well.
Personally, I'd like to see Reaper return for another season, but the fact of the matter is if the network decide to axe it, I'd consider that a smart business move, so to use the term jackasses is completely uncalled for.

Damn, it'd be a shame to see Reaper go. Sock is a good character but the show could survive without him, Ray Wise is hilarious.

I hope someone picks up the series. I don't watch too much television these days and it's for reasons like this and Firefly. The good shows, the one's you really want to see get cancelled. It's fupping irritating as hell.
