I have a plastic net but the bess cant get through to the flowers?
Will I have to let them in?

Same goes for a few berry bushes I have.

The bad thing is the birds are trampling everything when I lift the net.

Can I avoid getting a bigger guage net?

pollination of strawberries can be helped along by using a soft bristle painting brush to help move the pollen from the anther to the carpel(male part to female)....just a light dab of the flowers with a soft brush should do the trick.
