Hi all. Does anyone know if there is a freight company that accepts vans that goes from Ireland to Spain? Thanks in advance for answers.

We went on Brittany Ferries from Plymouth to Santander. You'll obviously have to get to Plymouth first.

A couple of years back before xmas we took a Irish Ferries from Wexford Rosslare to Roscoff France and drove down to the south of Spain. it was the worst experience of my life. every single foreign national in Ireland was travelling back to Europe via car for xmas and we had the unfortunate pleasure of spending 2 days with some of the most disgusting people on this planet, I am not one bit racist but the carry on of these people was unimaginable. Not only that but every single employee was foreign and nobody hardly spoke a word of English and treated us like absolute dirt. I will NEVER EVER sail on Irish Ferries again. It was like being on a ferry on the Baltic sea in a james bond movie (from Russia with love) absolutely horrendous. just thought id share my experience. please continue :)

Thanks for the responses folks. I was thinking more on the lines of a freight company that has space for a few vans as well, like the one from Dublin to Liverpool (Norfolk line I think).

Did Norfolk line a few times with vans and trucks. Great way to travel over to UK. Spain on the other hand, other than through the UK, and drive to Portsmouth, i don't think so. Roscoff is your best bet. Think all this was said before though! :)
