I hope I'm not stepping on any toes by posting this here. I've been looking into buying a BMW 2002, and was invited into a Yahoo group that was set up for Irish owners. It's like a reaaaaally old fashioned forum setup, and is very difficult to use and inflexible when you are used to regular forums. Also, you can't just register and start using it, you can't even view the site without being invited, so it is very difficult to get new members in. I offered to create a more up-to-date website for them, as many of the members have been great in helping me and giving me advice.

So the site is now finished, and located at: http://bmwireland.ning.com
If you own a classic beemer, why not introduce yourself?
Info about meets and runs is now being put up if you are interested.

    Nice cars David.

I came back to my car on Sunday, my '68 Merc, and there was an ')2 Touring parked in front of me.

It was a lovely mint car and so I decided to step back and try to take a photo, sepia style, to sort of recreate a typical early 70's street scene. Anyway the owner came along and invited me to look around the car and then take it for a spin, which i did. It was fab, a really tight car, very modern to drive with a slick 'box.

So have you found one yet ?

Well I never got to take the photo because the owner came along. It was a lime green metallic '73 and the owner was a Mr. Frank Kiernan, very nice gent too !
