Hi, My little bro is in junior cert this year but has been really ill. He doesn't want to have to repeat the year (and honestly i don't think it's important enough of an exam to do that) so we've joined forces to try get him passes in everything. I make cheat notes of all the important things and when he's well enough he learns them. Our only issue at the mo is that he cannot understand what is asked in the aiste/diaspoireact section of paper 1(HL and my irish is woeful). Any suggested websites or books where he can learn important grammar fast would be great. Thanks

Diospoireact is a no go(For I'd say the majority of the country including me)
You cant repeat the Junior Cert and theres no need anyway, you can get 11 Fs and while your school mightnt exactly allow you free choice of subjects etc for leaving cert you wont need to repeat.

Aiste aswell is not extrememly important, Not a no-go by any means but it isnt essential to pass.

Learning the Scéal eachtra and Alt will be more than enough.

This website covers the most used grammar

It is possible to repeat the Junior Cert..

OP, the school will know the standard your brother is at and can place him appropriately for senior cycle regardless of his JC results. It's a worthwhile exercise even if he does not do as well as the others in his group, as he will experience what it is like to do a State exam. The JC is designed to maximise success, so he might be surprised at how well he does, even having been ill.
