I hope this is not the case but just heard the 11:00 am news on Radio that the West Pac Heli is recovering a body from Clovelly.

I really pray & hope its not Sean but its too much of a coincidence.

Hopefully not him, versus any optimistic alternatives, but this might at least be an answer and conclusion, for the family and friends...

I got an email from my friend who first sent me on the email, they said police have confirmed the body is that of missing Irishman Sean Walsh.

I have no source on this but an email, I hope it is not true

Very sad if it is true :(. At least it's closure for the family & friends if it is him.

Hussey - got that email as well, mine mentioned Gordon Bay as where he was found. However now the news on the grapevine is that it isn't him. As far as I'm hearing, they are still looking from him.

I would like to confirm that Sean has NOT been found, I ask that
people do not post hearsay as this is causing further stress to his family
    in Ireland.
    His cousin Owen, Sydney

thanks for this, I hope you find him, I'll email my friends who sent the email, and spread the word so people will still know he is missing.

Guys any updates on Sean ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 575 ✭✭✭Ozeire

I know this is a long time but has anyone heard any updates at all ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,901 ✭✭✭✭Mellor

He is still listed as confirmed missing on the missing persons register.
Prob the best place to check rather than keep bumping the thread. If he turns up, i imagine it'll make its way here pretty quick.

Was only thinking of this the other day.

    No news.

(anyone who knows Sean please dont take offence to the next bit)

I usually keep my ears open around my neck of the woods when a body is found in case it was Sean. Often bodies get washed up/located in the rocks around here. I believe 2 so far in the last 10 months but afaik all identified.
