    Hey,
Im a 21 year old male, i brush my teeth at least twice a day, have never smoked and rarely drink tea or coffee, however, i am not at all happy about the colour of my teeth, there somewhat yellow, not really bad but id love them to be glowing white, so i was just wondering has anyone had there teeth whitened before and if so what are the results like, would you recommend it, ive seen ads for laser teeth whitening, for approx. €250, has anyone had this done

    Thanks

I've had it done before. No problems whatsoever.

    White enough. :p

Nah,about 4-5 shades whiter. It's hard to explain, but white enough that I was getting compliments. Not so white that I was blinding people though. :D

Had mine down with Snow White Smiles in David Lloyd in Donnybrook.

Great results, easily 6-7 shades lighter.

I had this torture done a few years back. It felt like the dentist was smashing my teeth with a copper hammer. Sensitivity was unreal. I hated it.

Take a few pain killers before you go.

I paid my dentist E500 for teeth whitening. it wasn't laser, he ordered the pack, made the denture tray and showed me what to do. Afterwards i looked it up online and realised i was robbed as its for sale on their own website direct to customers. I've since recommended it to my brother and he bought direct from website and was v pleased. I wouldn't use higher than 10% as your teeth can get quite sensitive from it. Better off to put in less solution but use it more often. I was v pleased with results.

I'm in the same position as the op but I have stains from where I used to have braces. Has anybody got it done that had the same problem?

I go to a laser clinic for skin rejuvenation and they do laser teeth whitening there too! I asked her about it and she said being honest it wasn't that great, generally people are dissapointed with the results as the teeth don't go as white as people expect! I think you need to stay away from coloured food for a certain length of time afterwards too! I have no experience with laser whitening other than that to be honest to I'm just going by what the owner of the clinic said!!! Also, there may be different brands of laser treatment out there!
Speaking from personal experience I found crest stips to be fantastic!! They are so cheap and easy to use!! I used a box of them about 3 years ago and my teeth are still snow white!! I would reccommend them to anyone!
