The upload speed will be a huge bottleneck, so false hope if any at all.

And You're talking of 750ms+ ping times, so no hope of VOIP or gaming etc.........unless of course You've figured out how to defeat the laws of physics and make a radio wave travel faster

No, Satellite doesn't work well in the rain, which in Ireland is nearly every day

The far tips of Donegal also have wireless , why would anyone bother with cruddy vsat services where teh providers go out of business with alarming regularity and leave their customers stuck with €1000 worth of gear and another €1000 bill to get a new cruddy vsat in .

It makes no sense in a developed country ....maybe on a trawler off Rockall or something .

What the 96CM dish they offer?.......and You're saying it'll work in North Donegal. You do know the further NW the bigger the dish required

And off it goes to Midband, because as everyone knows, Vsat is not broadband.

    I see it's over €1000 installation, then almost €37 a month for 2M, with a 1.2GB limit. This isn't just expensive, it's bloody expensive.

For someone with no other options, move.

Would it be easily do-able to exclude a few parts of boards from google etc search results ?

Not saying this is "one of those posts " but a) theres been a few b) threads on boards seem to appear in search results very quickly
