    Hey Folks,

    Do you remember a month or two ago HP announced the creation of several hundred new jobs. Have they started hiring for these positions yet?

    Yes but all through agency as I recall and all so far where European language + English jobs for level 1 tech support at 19.5k (this is going from my foggy memory so may no longer be correct).

    As far as I remember HP use CPL.

    CPL for the helpdesk jobs, however Manpower get a few of their back office type jobs as well....

    Sorry to put a downer on this, but I heard through the grapvine that these "500 new jobs" are actually existing positions being transferred to Leixlip. It's just the way HP wanted free media exposure i suppose.

    This is correct. I only just left HP where they were offering voluntary redundancy!! Strange then that the announce all these *new* jobs ehh...
    They have a habit of hiring the temp staff as perm every so often...
