Has anyone ever been out on a boards.ie beers night before? If so; how was it? What can we expect?

Lol! Might be tempted to go to one of these things some day, I dunno. Is it subtly frowned upon if you're not in your 20's?

Boards.ie the video or board game can't be far away, lads. You know it would sell or work as a charity idea, at least among the many users here! It would have to have actual user-names to work, though. With optional opt-in, of course, to not scare people away from signing up or posting here.

...Mary Harney turning up to flake all the little bastards who take her name in vain.

Pile drivers and upper cuts. Its going to be a slaughter.

Well she will be the token female at the event anyway.

Yeah Ive been wondering about these beers. Do people introduce themselves as their username? And then their real name, or vice versa. Or does anyone care?

Harney will be kicking ass and taking names later.

Is it frowned upon to try and hit on the ladies? I'm aware there are no wimmens present on the internet but still :pac:

This is your chance to prove that to be true.

I'm a big believer in it but I want to be able to continue doing that throughout my life, I fear this just may be pushing the whole act of kindness too far.

I've been to loads of them at this point, they're great nights out, have yet to have a bad night at one

A bunch of us ended up waking up in a flat in Maynooth after a beers in Dublin once, still have no idea how I ended up there, and after another one I ended up in a boardsies house with a few people playing drunken twister (I rule at that game)

There's an album in the works actually, I think they're planning on nabbing the christmas number 1 spot

Usually both. Will start off as usernames, then real names, and then later when everyone's pissed it goes back to usernames. Having people yell monkeyfudge and orestes and the likes at each other in a bar can be weird, makes it sound like a meeting of secret agents or something
