    Hi all,

Looking for advice - travelling to Italy for a wedding - and travelling back towards Venice for a couple of nights before heading back through Treviso.

Considering we are travelling with a 5 year old and a week's luggage - would it be better to stay somewhere outside accessible by car? If we stay in Venice itself - it looks like a lot of hassle to get there by ferry etc.

    Thanks,
    Keith.

Stay in Trevisio. Get the train. You can't bring the car into Venice anyway. Actually return the car when you arrive in Trevisio, you won't need it after that.

where is the wedding treviso??? would get rid of the car after the wedding and get the train to venice (or bus)stay in a hotel close to the train staion or just jump in a water taxi outside the station, there is a bus station in venice which you can get a bus back to treviso for your flight, think ryan*ir run one to meet their flights friends were there last yr and im sure this is what they said they did ,they def got a bus anyway. the first time we went to venice we booked a hotel in mesra (soz spelling)it the town on the main land its not very nice anyway we had a bit of a faulty towers incident with our hotel so they moved us to their sister 4 star hotel in venice 2min from st marks sq and they put us up in one of their suites heaven!! so glad they did because its sooo worth staying in venice its self and we hav always stayed in venice since.
