    hi there

im trying to book flights from cork gatwick for december, i know its early but its part of a larger holiday and i want to be sure of them.

i cant seem to find any flights at all from cork to gatwick, does anyone know of any? i can get to heathrow of course and its an hours bus from there. has anyone had experience of this connection and how long does it really take?

and lastly i was looking at ryanair to stanstead but they dont seem to give prices or details in december at all, is that too far ahead for them? do they not plan their schedules that far ahead?

    thanks for any help

I'm not sure there are any Cork - Gatwick flights anymore apart from Ryanair.

The Heathrow bus to Gatwick is dependent on how busy the M25 is - if you're travelling in the morning or evening it can be a longer trip. So I would plan at least 3 hours between, if not more to allow for contingencies.

Ryanair's may not have loaded details that far ahead.

Personally I'd consider getting to Gatwick the night before and staying in an Airport Hotel - much less stress, and no likelyhood of you missing your holiday flight due to Ryanair being late/M25 pile up etc.

yeah but the day before is xmas day. we would have plenty time anyway cos the flight dosent leave gatwick until 3pm and we would be in heathrow at 9.30am. i dont see any ryanair flights to gatwick from cork / shannon

A friend of mine did this route last year to meet up with a bigger party. He flew Cork - heathrow and got the bus. At about 8pm it took just over an hour. We were staying in a nearby hotel waiting to catch a fllight the following morning.
