Nike+ Runners in Galway?

Three things have happened to be lately:

    1. My old iPod touch crapped-out so I bought the new iPod touch 2G.
    2. I've started walking a lot.
    3. My old Vans shoes completely fell-apart and so I bought new DCs, but they're killing my toes. Definitely not for walking... :(

After I started walking, I decided to buy one of those Nike+ sensors, since I like to walk while listening to music. Since my old shoes died, I need new ones. Rather than the old Stanley-knife retrofit job I did on my Vans to accomodate my Nike+ sensor, I really don't feel like doing it to those DCs.

So, does anyone know where I could pick up a pair of Nike+ runners to go along with the sensor? I presume Foot Locker is the place to go, but I haven't checked yet.

Does anyone else have a pair of Nike+ runners and would you recommend them etc.?

    Thanks lads,
    Aaron.

The problem is if you are going to do any jogging or even just for walking, it's best to good shoes.
And Nike might not be the best for you, some shops can film you and advise on what brand is best

If it isn't a Nike brand, buy a pouch from ebay for a fiver

runners- try the Nike Vomero- extremelly cushioned and soft (too soft some say). Expensive but can get them cheap online (there's a thread somewhere with them available for about €80 including delivery instead of about €130 here....

Do a google search for Nike+- they've recalled their sportsband, will be relaunched this summer.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I eventually found a pair of Nike+ shoes in Champion Sports for €70, marked down from €110, so I bought them.

I don't agree with the decision to move this thread to the running forum. I was asking about Galway...

    Thanks guys!
